Italy's best kept secret? This wine shoots way above its price point, this is one of the worlds finest Chardonnays bar none. A fine balanced wine with great minerality and crisp fresh acidity but equally packed full of fruit and body. None of the heavy oak you get from a lot of the Aussie and California Chardonnays so if huge oak is your think then the finesse and delicacy of this fine wine is probably not your bag.
A perfect wine!!! It has wonderful aromas of apple confiture, honey, ginger, caramel and key lime pie. It is a complex wine with the flavors showing up every time you smell and taste. It is a full bodied wine that can be enjoyed for the following 10 years. This is the reason the wines from Sauternes are so legendary!!!
